Saratoga Springs Branch

Dance Instructor
The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Saratoga Springs branch is currently seeking a Ballet Instructor to lead our ‘Twinkle Toes and Tiny Tutu’s classes for children ages 4-6.  These classes build on the basics of ballet and tap including movements, positions and combinations.  Also, the fundamentals of rhythm are reinforced with listening and musical games.  Classes will be scheduled Monday evenings from 6:00-6:55 pm and Tuesday mornings from 9:30-10:15 am, with the opportunity for additional hours in the near future.  Applicants must have experience in ballet and tap, as well as working with children.  Must be 18 years of age.

School Age Assistant
The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Before and After School Enrichment Program (B.A.S.E.) currently has a openings for School Age Site Assistants.

These positions involve supervising children in Kindergarten - 7th grade with homework assistance, structured activity, play, guidance and support after school and also on early dismissal days and "Fun Days" at the Y--when provided.

Eligible candidates are self-motivated individuals willing to work as a team to provide a safe, enriching and rewarding environment for school age children.

Positions will be based out of Saratoga Springs City School District, Ballston Spa Central School District, as well as the Saratoga Regional YMCA's facility, located in Saratoga Springs.

• Must be available Monday through Friday from 6:45 – 9:15 am AND/OR 3:00 – 6:00 pm
• These positions REQUIRE prior child care experience.
• Training & Certification in First Aid and CPR will be provided by the Saratoga Regional YMCA.

This is a GREAT opportunity for retired teachers to continue working with school age children.

Youth Rover
The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Saratoga Springs Branch is currently seeking a Rover.  The Rover’s duties include: Walking around the building to ensure members  are in compliance with Saratoga Regional YMCA's rules and regulations, spending time in the gym monitoring “play,”  trying to ensure that people get equal playing time on the court.  Additional responsibilities include making sure people are allowed to be on the court and “play” or shoot around, on at least one half of the gym, along with making sure members exit the gymnasium if there are programs that are set at a reserved time.  A Rover is needed for Saturday’s from 12:00-6:00 pm and Sunday’s, from 12:00-9:00 pm.

Saturday Night Kidz Klub Position
We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in working with children for our Saturday Night Kidz Klub.  This program is for children ages 10-15 and it runs from 6:30-9:30 pm on Saturday nights.  Kids will participate in age appropriate activities in the gym, fitness center, pool, and cyber café.  Eligible candidates are self-motivated, responsible, and reliable individuals willing to work as a team to provide a safe, enriching and rewarding environment for school age children.

Before and After School

Enrichment Program (B.A.S.E.)

Micro-Soccer Coaches
The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Saratoga Springs branch is currently seeking a coaches to lead our Micro-Soccer classes for members ages 3-6. This is a co-ed program with fundamentals being stressed, and also a strong emphasis on participation NOT winning. Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 11:30 am. Applicants must enjoy working with young children and need not have experience player soccer, but rather an understanding of the game. Must be 18 years of age.

The Battenkill Branch is looking for a dynamic person with a fitness background to work in the Wellness Center on Saturdays from 10 am – 6 pm, and to also sub various shifts during the week.  The position is responsible for providing top-notch customer service and orientations on equipment, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the Wellness Center.   Eligible candidates should be 18 years of age and have knowledge of general fitness, physiology and terminology. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Malta Fitness Branch

Health & Wellness Coach
The Malta Fitness branch is looking for a Health and Wellness Coach on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-8:00 pm.  The Health & Wellness Coach is responsible for providing orientations, testing to members, and helping & assisting with member workouts; as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the Wellness Center.

Yoga Instructor

Wilton Branch

Wellness Coach
The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Wilton Branch is looking for a dynamic person with a fitness background to work in the Wellness Center. The hours will be Sunday from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and Wednesday from 5:00 am to 9:00 am.
The position is responsible for providing top-notch customer service and orientations on equipment, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the Wellness Center.
Eligible candidates should be 18 years of age and have knowledge of general fitness, physiology and terminology. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Member Service Representatives
The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Wilton branch is seeking Member Service Representatives. The candidate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all members and program participants. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: maintaining and balancing a till of money, interacting with and answering member questions both in person and on the phone, as well as basic computer knowledge.

Eligible candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, be eager to provide help to members when needed, able to take initiative and problem solve, and be flexible with scheduling needs. 

Available shifts include:
Opening shift:
M, W, F:  5:00- 9:00 am
Saturday: 6:00-11:00 am

Afternoon Shift:
M:  1:00-6:00 pm
W:  1:00-5:00 pm

Part-Time Birthday Party Host/Hostess

The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Wilton Branch is currently seeking a fun, out-going and responsible person to host birthday parties!

Basic duties will include: set-up and take down decorations; serving food/drink; attentiveness to needs of guests and maintaining the flow of the event.

Must be at least 18 years old.  Customer Service experience is preferred.

Work hours include, but are not limited to:
Saturday and Sunday from 12:30-3:00 pm and/or 3:00- 5:30 pm.

Part-Time Gymnastics Instructor

The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Wilton Branch is seeking Gymnastics Instructors to lead groups of up to 8 school age children in one hour instructional classes. Qualified applicants must have experience working with children, and preferably a background in gymnastics. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Available shifts include: Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
