SARATOGA SPRINGS BRANCH

Dance Instructor: The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Saratoga Springs branch is currently seeking a Ballet Instructor to lead our ‘”Twinkle Toes” classes (ballet and tap basics) for children ages 4-6 years old and “Fancy Feet” classes (intermediate ballet and tap) for children ages 6-8.  These classes build on the basics of ballet and tap including movements, positions and combinations.  Also, the fundamentals of rhythm are reinforced with listening and musical games. Applicants must have experience in ballet and tap, as well as working with children.  Must be 18 years of age.  

Classes will be scheduled as follows:
Twinkle Toes: Monday, 6:00-6:55 pm
Fancy Feet: Monday, 6:00-7:15 pm

School Age Assistant
: The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Before and After School Enrichment Program (B.A.S.E.) currently has a openings for School Age Site Assistants. These positions involve supervising children in Kindergarten - 7th grade with homework assistance, structured activity, play, guidance and support after school and also on early dismissal days and "Fun Days" at the Y--when provided. Eligible candidates are self-motivated individuals willing to work as a team to provide a safe, enriching and rewarding environment for school age children. Positions will be based out of Saratoga Springs City School District, Ballston Spa Central School District, as well as the Saratoga Regional YMCA's facility, located in Saratoga Springs.

Must be available Monday through Friday from 6:45 – 9:15 am AND/OR 3:00 – 6:00 pm. These positions REQUIRE prior child care experience.
Training & Certification in First Aid and CPR will be provided by the Saratoga Regional YMCA. This is a GREAT opportunity for retired teachers to continue working with school age children.

Housekeeper/Custodian Positions: The Maintenance Department has part-time positions open for a Housekeeper and Custodian.  These positions involve upkeep of locker rooms, facilities and grounds, as well as general cleaning duties.  Must be available nights and weekends—hours vary.  Please apply in person. BATTENKILL BRANCH

Branch Director: The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Branch Director to join our team at the Battenkill branch located in Greenwich.

This position is responsible for the daily operations and all programs related to the Battenkill Branch, as well as quality control, member services, health and wellness, program development, budgeting and financial results which will ensure the successful operation of the branch through membership retention and program satisfaction.  

Candidates must be self-motivated, well-organized, professional, dependable, and possess excellent communication skills. Relationship building and fundraising skills are critical for success in this role.

Three years supervisory experience in YMCA or similar business is required, as well as Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Must be able to instruct a variety of group fitness classes, as well as personal training.

MALTA FITNESS BRANCH

Housekeeper/Custodian: The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Malta Branch is currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Custodian to maintain cleanliness standards at the Child Care Center, as well as the Wellness Center.   The shifts will be Monday through Friday from 7 p.m.–12 a.m. and approx. 20-25 hours each week. Main duties will include: floors (sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping), bathrooms/locker rooms, garbage removal, windows and dusting.  Attention to detail is a MUST for success in this position.

Silver Sneakers Instructor: The Malta Fitness Branch is looking for a part-time Silver Sneakers Instructor who is certified to teach Silver Sneakers Muscular Strength and Range of Movement I and/or Silver Sneakers YogaStretch. The hours are Mondays at 10:30  or 11:30 am (MSROM I). WILTON BRANCH

Wellness Center Assistant: The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Wilton Branch is looking for a dynamic person to assist in the Wellness Center. Regular hours will be Tuesday 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Saturday 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The position is responsible for providing top-notch customer service, orientations on equipment and testing members; as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the Wellness Center. Eligible candidates should have knowledge of testing protocol, general fitness, physiology and terminology, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Fitness experience is a plus!!

Part-Time Gymnastics Instructor: The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Wilton Branch is seeking Gymnastics Instructors to lead groups of up to 8 school age children in one hour instructional classes. Qualified applicants must have experience working with children, and preferably a background in gymnastics. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Available shifts include: Friday evening and Saturday morning. We are also looking for a Substitute Daytime Instructor.
