ADULT AQUATICS
     

Adult Orientation to Aquatics
(18 years and older)
Learn all about the pool in this one time session! We’ll cover everything you need to know about water temperature, lane line designation, equipment available for use, shallow water exercise, deep water exercise, including aqua jogging/lap swimming, and available aquatics programs. Whether you are a strong swimmer or
a total non-swimmer, the pool has something to offer to everyone.

Space is limited to 4 members per orientation.

AQUA JOGGING (18+ years)
A fun deep water jogging class using flotation belts or noodles for support. It promotes great strengthening and cardiovascular benefits in a non-impact environment. No swimming skills required.

AQUA AEROBICS
A great low impact, cardiovascular workout that includes body toning exercise. A great way to get in shape while having fun in the water. Exercises may be incorporated into the routines from both the shallow and deep ends of the pool. No swimming skills required.

Aqua Yoga (18+ years)
Join us for aqua yoga! The combination of water to soothe the joints and heal the body combined with the meditative practice of yoga. This class creates relief from pain, flexibility and peace of mind. All levels welcome, no swim or yoga skills required.

SILVERSPLASH®
An older adult group water fitness program designed to enhance each individual’s quality of life and daily function. SilverSplash® utilizes the physical properties of the water to increase agility, range of motion and cardiovascular conditioning. No swimming ability is required.

Ideal for the absolute beginner!

ADULT SWIM INSTRUCTION (12+ years)
For adults who wish to improve their strokes. Swimmers of all skill levels welcome, including triathletes.

OPEN WATER SWIM CLINICS WITH ANN SVENSON (14+ years)
Stoke clinic and/or assessment for swimmers who will be preparing for and/or participating in an open water swim or Triathlon. For athletes who want to “Try a Tri” and to get ready for a Spring Tri-Training with Ann and Aurora.

AQUATIC AFTER THERAPY PROGRAM (18+ years)
An aquatic exercise class for individuals who have completed physical therapy and now want to move on to a low impact total body conditioning program. It combines aerobic, stretching and
strengthening exercise that offers both comfort and challenge to participants of all fitness levels. Physician’s consent is required.

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARDING (15+ years)
Includes Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/FPR certifications. Books and supplies are included in price.

SCUBA (12+ years)
Participants will spend half of each class in the pool and the other half in the classroom. This class is for ages 12 and up and registration is open for members as well as Program Members.

SWIM CLASS EVALUATIONS
Evaluations are required for all new swim class participants. To schedule a swim evaluation, please call Pat Bonga at 583-9622, ext. 125.

Family Recreational Swim Times
Open to full facility members only. All children must be accompanied in the pool by an adult (age 18 or older).


Friday: 7:30 - 8:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 - 2:00 p.m

Open Recreational Swim:
Members or Day Passes

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) in the pool area. Children requiring flotation devices
must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) in the pool. Members with questionable swimming abilities who wish to be in the deep end must take a swim test.

Monday: 1:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 2:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 1:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday: 2:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 1:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 - 5:45 p.m.

Open swim space is limited. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants. Please check pool schedule for additional hours or changes.
