Drop-in adult health and wellness classes are open to members age 14 and over. Unless otherwise specified, classes are free for members and $5.00 for a day pass. Health and Wellness schedules
are available at the front desk.

Classes may change without notice.  Please pick up a schedule at any of our branches or visit our programs page to view the various schedules.

 

ADULT GROUP HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLASSES

20/20/20

20 minute cardio followed by 20 minute
sculpt/ strength and then 20 minute core/mat work/stretch.

Abs Only
Join us for this challenging, yet doable exercise class, which is for all fitness levels. This class is designed to completely train the core muscles using a variety of body positions and equipment.

Body Sculpt

Full body strengthening and toning class designed to get your body stronger and sculpted.

Bootcamp
This high intensity interval class uses your body, calisthenics, along with jump ropes, weights, and other equipment to bring your workout to the next level.

Cardio Kickbox

Release tension and burn lots of calories in this choreographed and freestyle group exercise class! There will be lots of punching and kicking routines coupled with traditional aerobic exercises.

Cardio Sculpt
This is a fun class, perfect for people who like variety and want to shake up their workout. Class format will vary.

Circuit Training
This class is an effective and time-efficient way to improve your cardiovascular and muscle endurance by alternating cardio and strength exercises at various intervals. This is the perfect class for anyone who is short on time yet wants to develop all-around
fitness. Variety is the name of the game in this challenging workout!

Core-N-More
A low-impact workout that focuses on your “powerhouse” muscles. You will work all aspects of the core muscles using different props which will consistently challenge you to increase your fitness level.

Cycle Training
An intermittent cycling class that is designed to get your heart rate into a target heart rate range depending upon your age and physical condition. We use music, spin bicycles, and positive coaching methods, including visualization, to help you achieve the maximum results from your workout. Learn how to incorporate the use of heart rate monitors to get a safe and effective cardiovascular workout. Remember to bring your towel and water bottle!

Fitness Cycle
A great workout that is fun, effective and easy to learn! A customized stationary racing bike gives a smooth workout for the beginner to advanced cyclist. This class will increase your overall endurance through interval training, speed drills, hills and flats.
Remember to bring your water bottle and a towel!

those who love variety and/or are short on time. You must warm up on your own before class.

Silver Sneakers® I (MSROM)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Step 'N Sculpt
Like to mix it up? Start out class with an energizing and challenging step routine only to challenge those muscles even more with some
strength training and ab work to wrap it up.

Zumba®
This class combines high-energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. Add some spice and flare to your workout and shake your cha-cha! This latin-based group exercise class is fun and easy to do. No dance experience required!

 

Mind Body Classes

Mat Pilates

Improve core control, coordination, standing alignment and balance with stretching and strengthening exercises that are performed while standing, seated, lying or on all fours.

Mixed Level Yoga
All fitness levels are encouraged to explore asanas (poses) in order to decrease stress and increase flexibility. You will feel refreshed, restored and re-energized.

 

Personal Training

Personal Training
This service provides one-on-one training with a certified instructor who can asses your current strength and flexibility levels and customize a program just for you. These workouts will incorporate free weights, dumbbells, ab exercises and much more. Individual Personal Training prices start at $30/hour and for two people it is a flat rate of $50/hour. We now offer private training to groups of 3 to 8 people at a time. Led by a certified personal trainer, these
one hour sessions are designed to offer our members the value of personal training with a reduced cost. The cost of group training is
